Milk & Egg from Universal Nutrition is an ideal combination of milk protein (casein & lactalbumin) and egg protein (albumin). Research has shown that the specific blend of proteins found in this protein supplement can promote significant muscle growth when combined with anaerobic resistance training. Aside from the specific proteins used (whey vs. milk), there are other notable differences between Whegg and Milk & Egg. While Whegg combines fast and slow-acting proteins, Milk & Egg contains only slow-acting proteins, making the latter better suited for evening use when fasting during sleep becomes an issue.
